First Place in Time to Write 2025
Aberdour Pupil Wins Time to Write 2025, in the Years 5 & 6 Category
We are extremely pleased to announce that one of our pupils has been awarded first place in the ISEB and IAPS Time to Write competition in their category, Years 5 & 6.
WINNER: Hannah W, with the story ‘Arcade Lights’.
"The judges thought Arcade Lights was witty and zippy, with an original idea and effective shaping and storytelling. The panel thought it was very engaging and fun to read."
In it's second year, Time to Write is a groundbreaking creative writing competition for schools. Time to Write 2025 was open to all schools, with four categories across different age groups, and prizes for both the winning writers and their schools. The winning writers in each category will see themselves in print, as each will have their story turned into an illustrated book! Prizes will also be awarded to the winning writers’ schools. Further prizes will be on offer for the runners up in each category.
