Music

Music plays a huge part of life at Aberdour and all of the children have the opportunity to discover their musical brilliance.

Pupils have weekly music lessons as well as the opportunity to learn a range of instruments and join the school choir (from Main School). In lessons, they develop skills of music theory and keyboard playing, as well as studying the work of a chosen composer.

Pupils have plenty of opportunities to perform with regular informal concerts, assemblies, joint orchestra events with other schools, the House Music competition, external choir performances, Christmas Carol Concert and the Summer Concert.
