Drama Department

Drama is very much celebrated at Aberdour, with timetabled lessons and two major school productions each year. Pupils study the different strands of drama and theatre from acting skills such as improvisation, physicality and voice-work, through to productions skills such as lighting, costume design and prop-making. Drama is an excellent way to build confidence and improve oracy, as well as bringing the enjoyment of being on stage, teamwork and pushing boundaries. Aberdour is very proud of the pupils’ achievement and progress in drama, with many being awarded drama scholarships for their senior school.
